Most of you probally don't know this, so I thought I'd share...
I've been having some heart issues. To make a long story short, (after much debate, and talking me into it) Rebecca ended up taking me to the ER in Ft. Wayne about 2 weeks ago. Had several test done and luckly they ruled out the heart attact (was showing all symptoms of it at the time). So about what seems like 1000 test later and being at the Heart Institute having test done I FINALLY have an update as to what's been going on after 2 weeks of not having a clue.
(dramtic pause)
I have a Mitral Valve Prolapse in my heart. From my understanding it is one of the 4 valves in your heart. It is a 1-way valve and what is happening is that it is shutting to far (thus the prolapse), and letting blood flow back upwards into the top part of the heart when it's not susposed to (aka leaky valve). The problem is that we are not sure yet if it is doing this because it "wants to" or if it is doing it because of a clog. So for the moment I am on some medication for a month, than will go back to the Heart Institute and have another eco done to see if it has cured it any. Beyond that I am not sure what would have to be done. I am still in a lot of pain, and my chest/heart still hurts quite a bit. Maybe one of the Webb's can jump in and explain it a bit more. I seem to be to young to be having some heart issues....
So, if you guys could keep me in your prayers it would be greatly appriciative.
Adam
